Historique :	Ces catafalques ont été produits de façon abondante au XIXe siècle, mais il en reste assez peu. La facture de celui-ci est assez soignée, en particulier au niveau de l'iconographie. Ce répertoire funéraire n'est pas propre seulement à la Bretagne mais lui reste particulièrement familier, l'ankou étant connu depuis le Moyen Âge et les symboles de la mort présents dans les édifices religieux depuis longtemps.
