Description :	Chaque statuette représente un ange angenouillé sur une base de la forme d'un hexagone irrégulier. L'ange situé sur la partie droite de l'autel (ange dextre) a le genou droit sur le sol ; il pose délicatement ses deux mains sur sa poitrine. L'ange de gauche (ange senestre) pose son genou gauche sur le sol. Il joint les mains en signe de prière.

Précision_sur la representation :	Les anges sont représentés sous les traits de jeune fille ou d'éphèbe. Ils ont de longs cheveux ondulés et sont vêtus d'une tunique et d'une draperie. La draperie semble attachée dans le dos, au niveau du départ des ailes, elle s'enroule autour du bas du corps de chaque ange, entoure la jambe agenouillée et forme de nombreux plis au dos de l'oeuvre. les drapés semblent gonflés par le vent. Leur disposition irréaliste a un but esthétique. Elle est inspirée de l'art baroque mais ces anges adorateurs restent statiques sans l'envolée et le mouvement foisonnant qui caractérise cet art.
